  Jori Williams did a wonderful job on my mom's funeral service. The staffs at Downing & Lahey were very courteous and accommodating. They did everything within their powers to make sure the service went smoothly. My family was very pleased with the outcome. Furthermore, the facility has a lot of private rooms and plenty of space to make it feels comfortable. We were glad that we picked Downing & Lahey West Mortuary for my mom's service.

  TERRIBLE TREATMENT... Absolutely no compassion! DO YOUR LOVED ONES A FAVOR AND MAKE ANOTHER CHOICE! At our mother's Funeral service we were marshalled about by a Downing & Lahey representative named Mike Bina, he spoke to us and treated us like we were in the Army. He spoke to us like a drill sergeant. Immediately after the service, family members complained that while seated watching the video representation of my mother's life they were asked to get up and leave the sanctuary. My gosh the service had just ended! This man was rude, and I am surprised that the mortuary would employ someone who has absolutely no tact, compassion or regard for grieving family members...It felt like we were on an assembly line. IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION; Do your family members a favor and do not deal with this rude person, Mike Bena.
